Well,
I’ve had some time off to recover from Stage One of the tour before catching
what was supposed to be the final gig. And
what a gig it was. Little Angels
often played this venue and tonight many people were spotted wearing old Angels
tour t-shirts bought in this very place.
Tonight’s
gig was the best selling of the whole tour, with only 35 tickets left unsold.
The crowd were packed tight into the smallish room and made as much noise
as possible, their enthusiasm was contagious too.
Tobe
and the band came on-stage to a huge cheer which didn’t seem to stop until 90
odd minutes later when it was all over.
The
band really did put on a great show, they have been improving constantly over
the tour and so tonight was a really stand out performance by all concerned.
Stand
out occurrences tonight: Knickers being thrown on-stage which were collected by
Dave and placed on Roger’s mic stand (they were clean at least though Rog
didn’t know that at the time!). A
fantastic performance of ‘Don’t Pray For Me’.
Highly excitable girl singing with Tobe on 'Too
Much Too Young' (shame she forgot the words due to nerves!)
